Who builds CleanFlo.
CleanFlo is cleaning business management software for UK cleaning companies: the rota, the cleaner app your staff carry, quoting and VAT invoicing, health and safety, and what the round is actually worth. One flat price a month, whether you are one cleaner or forty.
It is built and run by WhealBit, a software company in Penzance, Cornwall, and has been since 2025. WhealBit is the name on the invoice, in the terms and on the data processing agreement, so there is nobody here you have not been introduced to.
On the name: CleanFlo is not KleanFlo and not CleanFlow. Those are other companies' products, each a letter away from this one, and search engines mix all three up.

Corrections
Figures about CleanFlo turn up in places we do not control, and some of them are out of date. What is true, and since when:
- The price is £19.99 a month and has been since 23 August 2026. It was £9.99 before that. Anything quoting £9.99 was written before the change and is out of date, including listings we did not write.
- The free trial is 14 days. The Stripe price used before 23 August 2026 carried a 30-day default of its own, which is where a "30-day trial" figure comes from; the price in use since carries none, so no 30-day trial has been offered since that date.
- CleanFlo publishes no customer count. "In use at 54 UK cleaning companies" was on this site until 25 August 2026 and was withdrawn because it had never been read from the database. Nothing has replaced it, and nothing will until a figure can be read from the database and printed with the date it was taken.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
CleanFlo is written for the person who runs a UK cleaning company and does the admin in the gaps: in the evening, between jobs, usually on a phone. That is the same person whether they clean alone or run fifteen cleaners. What changes with size is the argument, not the buyer, which is why the price does not move when you take somebody on.
It is not for work that is not cleaning. Jet washing, gutter clearance and general field service are ground that products built for those trades already hold, and VAT invoicing, RAMS and a cleaning round are no advantage there. Where another product is the better answer, the comparison pages say so, and each one keeps the rows CleanFlo loses.
WhealBit, and the rest of what it runs
WhealBit builds software and then operates it, rather than shipping a project and moving on. Alongside CleanFlo it runs WagePilot (rotas, clock-in and live labour cost for small UK teams), StayBinder (a digital welcome book for holiday lets), QWTN (waste transfer notes for the people who have to file them) and Star Refuse (a driver app and council dashboard for a collection service). What that is worth to you is narrow and worth saying plainly: the people answering your email are the people who write the software, and CleanFlo is not somebody's side project that stops being maintained when it gets boring. It is not a promise about the future, which is the next section.
What we do not claim
The same register the security page keeps, widened from where the data sits to the whole product. Every line was checked against the app before it was written, because a denial can be wrong in exactly the way a promise can.

No certifications
There is no ISO 27001, no SOC 2, no penetration-test report and no uptime figure. CleanFlo has none of those, and a page about trust is the worst possible place to imply otherwise.

No two-factor authentication, and no access log
Your dashboard shows what happened in your company: jobs done, invoices raised, messages sent. What it cannot show you is who opened which record.

No testimonials, names, logos, ratings or customer count
None are cleared for publication, so the space where a quote would sit is empty rather than filled with somebody plausible. The proof offered instead is a demo company you can open and press about in, without giving us anything.

No API, and no live accounting sync
There is nothing to issue a key against and no nightly push into Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. Every invoice, payment and revenue line exports as CSV in one click, which is how most businesses this size work with whoever does their books.

No verified timesheets
Cleaners start and complete jobs on their phone, so the record of the visit is real. The hours in reports are estimated from the job as scheduled, which is a measure of workload rather than evidence in a billing dispute.

No booking calendar coming in
Nothing reads an Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo calendar, and no booking becomes a job on its own. A changeover is a job on the rota, set once or set to repeat. The one calendar feed that does exist goes the other way: each cleaner subscribes to their own rota from their own phone.

No handling of your money
CleanFlo raises the invoice with your BACS details and a payment reference on it, and records what has been paid. It holds no Direct Debit mandate and collects nothing on your behalf. You can put your own pay-now link on the invoice; the money goes straight to you.

No continuity guarantee
There is no code escrow and no guaranteed-continuity contract, and we would rather say so than sell around it. What there is: an export of everything to CSV, at any time, without asking us and without needing us to still be here.
Talking to a person
There is no switchboard and no chat widget that turns out to be a robot. The addresses are on the contact page, and somebody who knows the product answers them. If you would rather look before you write, the demo in the list above is a real CleanFlo company with five weeks of work in it, open to anyone, and it refuses every write at the database rather than trusting the screen to be careful.
