Your login came from your employer.

There is no sign-up here and no form on this page. The company you clean for adds you, and the app sends them a link that is yours alone, usually by WhatsApp or a text message. You open it, you set your own password, and that is the account.

The link lasts a fortnight. If yours has run out, or you never got one, ask whoever does the rota to send another: it takes them a minute and they can see who has been invited and who has not set themselves up yet.

If you have signed in before and forgotten the password, use the forgotten-password link on the sign-in screen, or ask them.

It is in your language already.

The app reads what your phone is set to and shows you that, with nothing to choose and nobody to ask. The country does not matter, so a phone set to Brazilian or European Portuguese gets Portuguese either way. If you pick a language by hand it keeps it and never changes it back. Arabic and Urdu are laid out right to left, properly, not just translated.

It works with no signal.

Basements, plant rooms, lift lobbies and the middle of nowhere: the day, the addresses, the access notes and the checklists are already on the phone before you get there, so the job opens with no bars at all.

Every tick, note and photograph you make waits its turn and goes up when the signal comes back. You do not have to remember to send anything. On the rare occasion the phone has never held a copy of your schedule, it says so in plain words rather than showing you an empty day.

There is nothing to download.

It opens in the browser your phone already has. To make it feel like an app, add it to your home screen once: after that it opens from an icon, full screen, and you never type the address again. Nothing to install means nothing to update, and if you change phone you are back in by opening the same link.

The app shows you how to do it, drawn for your own phone, iPhone or Android, in the same 27 languages. The link that opens it sits on the sign-in screen, under the form.

One warning about the name. If you search an app store for CleanFlo you will find other companies' apps: KleanFlo and CleanFlow are different products, each a letter away from this one. There is nothing of ours in there to find. The only way in is the link your company sent you.

What it records, and what it does not.

You see the work that is yours, plus anything on the board with your name on it that has not been linked to your account yet. The rest of the rota, the client list, the money and the reports are not on this app at all.

Where you are is recorded at two moments and no others: when you start a clean and when you finish one. Each one is a rough fix, checked against the address you are meant to be at and flagged only if it is a long way off. Nothing is recorded between jobs, after work, or on a day off. If you say no when the phone asks for location, the app carries on working exactly as before.

Nothing on this page is being sold to you. There is no version of this you are asked to buy and nothing you are asked to pay for: your company holds one account for everybody who works there, and you are on it.
