The Locations Map
An address column is easier to drive than it is to picture. Locations Map puts every property you clean at on one map (pinned, coloured by the client it belongs to, iconed by what kind of place it is) with the same list beside it, kept in step, so the map is a second way into the register rather than a picture bolted on next to it.

Reading the map
Every location with saved coordinates gets a pin. The badge’s colour is the client it belongs to (the same colour that client’s avatar chip carries on the Clients register, so a client is never blue on one screen and green on another) and the glyph inside it is the property type: an office, a home, a holiday let, a retail unit, or other.
Every property on one map, coloured by the client it belongs to.
Click a pin and its popup names the property, the client and its address, with two links: Open record, straight to the location’s own page, and Directions, which opens the point in whatever maps app your phone or browser already uses. Neither is CleanFlo drawing a route of its own: the second is a deep link out, the first is the property’s real record, with its access notes, contacts and clean history.
The legend is the filter
The Client and Type panels beside the map are not a key you read. They are buttons. Click a client to hide every pin of theirs, or a property type to hide all of that kind; click again to bring them back. The count on each chip updates with whatever search is active, so “3” always means three properties matching what is on screen right now.
Fit all pins zooms and centres the map on whatever is currently shown: every plotted property if nothing is filtered, or only the ones a filter and a search have left standing.
Needs a pin
A property with no saved coordinates cannot appear on a map: there is nowhere to put it. Rather than vanishing silently, it drops into its own list beneath the main register, headed Needs a pin, so a gap in the map reads as something to fix rather than something missing without a reason. Opening one takes you to its own record, where a postcode or a dropped pin gives it somewhere to be plotted.
Searching
The search box matches a location’s name, its client’s name, its address line, its city or its postcode, and narrows the map, the legend counts and both lists at once. There is no separate “search the map” and “search the register”, because they are the same properties read two ways.
Who sees this
Locations Map sits under Clients & Team in the sidebar, and a supervisor sees it too, the same operational reach they already have over Clients and Schedule. It is not gated by a company module: it draws on whatever locations already exist, and there is nothing to switch off.
What the map does not do
It is a way to browse the register, not a second place to edit it: moving, renaming or retyping a property happens on its own record, not by dragging a pin. It does not plan a route across several cleans; a pin’s Directions link is a single point sent to your phone’s own maps app. And the tiles themselves come from OpenStreetMap over the network, so the map needs a connection to draw. The register beside it does not.
